Access to over-the-counter items through a NationsBenefits®  Mastercard® Prepaid Card

Elite Health Plan has partnered with NationsBenefits® to give you a Benefits Mastercard® Prepaid Card with an allowance* to pay for eligible items and approved services through a quarterly amount (which can be rolled over to the next quarter if it is not used). 

 

This allowance* may be used for items and activities including eligible over-the-counter (OTC) health and wellness products through NationsBenefits® online catalog and at participating retail locations.

  1. Your Benefits Card will be mailed shortly after you enroll with Elite Health Plan, along with instructions on how to activate and use it.

  2. The Benefits Card is funded with a quarterly allowance that can be used to purchase eligible health and wellness products and services. Any unused balance will roll over from quarter to quarter through December 31, 2027, provided you remain enrolled in the plan.

  3. You can shop in five ways: online, through the Benefits Pro® App, by mail, in-store or by phone. Download the Benefits Pro® App in the App Store® or Google Play®. Your card can be used at retail locations such as CVS Pharmacy, Ralphs, Walgreens, Walmart and thousands more.  For a full list of participating retailers, go to EliteHealthPlan.NationsBenefits.com or the Benefits Pro App.

  4. You can use your card to pay for eligible items using your spending allowance(s). Your available spending amount will apply to eligible items and deducted from your balance. Your card cannot be used at an ATM or for cash back when making a purchase.

What is an Over the Counter (OTC) item?

Over-the-counter (OTC) products do not require a prescription. OTC offerings include a broad selection: first aid supplies, analgesics, vitamins and minerals, antacids, first aid creams and ointments, laxatives, smoking cessation aids, and more. ​This list is not a complete description of the available items.
